HPLC important information
Information about HPLC
The acronym HPLC standing for High Pressure Liquide Chromatography and is a specialized form of chromatography. These is an analytical method in chemistry, which is the most used techniques in the instrumental analytic.
The HPLC is a so-called liquid chromatography method and used to separate, identify and quantify in a mixture. There is a stationary phase, often still firm and a mobile phase, usually liquid under this method of separation.
Storage vessel, HPLC pump(s), mixing chamber, sample injector, column, detector and waste vessel are the main components of HPLC.
The main field of use HPLC is the testing of substances of limited volatility or volatile substances, strong ionic or polar substances, high molecular weight substances and thermally instable, easily decomposable substances.
